Officials of the Independent Steelworkers Union and Presidential Candidate Patrick J. Buchanan will hold a news conference and make a "major announcement," Monday, July 26, 1999 at 1:45 p.m.

The announcement and news conference will take place on the front steps of the Union Hall located at 2971 West Street, Weirton, West Virginia.

The Independent Steelworkers Union is a completely autonomous Union representing approximately 4,000 bargaining unit employees at Weirton Steel Corporation. The Union membership lives in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
